Down to the last week now, and things are looking good. Looking back on the past couple of months, I’m just overcome with pride. I have made so much progress. I’m not going to lie, I always secretly thought that I was gonna do what I’ve always done: set a deadline then slack off and miss it. I’ve had such a great time writing this, and part of me doesn’t want to be done. But I can’t stop now that I’ve come this far. But I still have the review and revise phase to look forward to afterward I suppose.
But. In the spirit of the game I’ve been waiting to play for over ten years finally releasing next week, I wanted to share the official theme song from Kingdom Hearts 3. It may just be my overthinking mentality and ability to find meaning in anything, but it also resonates with this stage of the writing. So I hope you enjoy this song.
I also just want to quickly say that I’m glad that great men like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. still have the capacity to inspire long after death. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been influenced by his words and rhetoric. Thank you, Dr. King. Your words are still just as important and relevant in times like these. Here are just a few of my favorites.
“In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”
“Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
“We may have all have come on different ships, but we’re in the same boat now.”
