The sun sets early on a city hidden in thunder. The buildings lean under a sky buckling with lightning cumulus. A mystery accumulates in the shadow of heaven. A life that can't be seen dreams of dancing with her partners up above. She tiptoes off the sidewalk, kicks up rain in the street, and soon… Continue reading City of Wonder
Staring into the ocean, you know but you don't. You couldn't. What lies below in the black and blue, we'll see very soon. Life unseen and unknown hides beneath the surface. So dive right in. Go without the feeling that you're all alone and find a miracle living on its own.
It's the same old story, we've been here before. This time it hurts more and it will the next. How many times can you open a wound before it fully heals? Does it ever? So make your own good fortune, be your own god. The bad will still come or not come. Just as the… Continue reading Wild Seed
Slave to the silhouettes of better men. Though they see me as I am, I falter in the doublethink that heralds in another day of opaque obstinance. Meet me in a raindrop, dress me in your gaze. Convince me that I'm in control like those days I got in the way. Take my hand and dance with me as we cascade into infinity. Hold your breath and take the step down into the mess we've made. We lose ourselves at midnight dance… Continue reading Sunkissed
It's been a weird week. Weird doesn't even begin to describe it actually. I found a new side of myself that I didn't know existed. In a way, it left me kinda dumbfounded. And I basically surrendered to a new set of ideals for the whole week completely unintentionally. I realize I'm being overly cryptic… Continue reading Back into the Action
I'm riding out this double life. Can't seem to keep them separate though they're markedly disparate. I see myself in both. I thought I knew what I wanted. The story is uneventful but grabs you nevertheless. Just like that day that I sent you my address.
We sail through the sky. The atmosphere is our ocean and there's ocean all around way up above the sound of the chromatic cries for decency but everyone falls in line. The flagship falters and the fleet falters too. Nose dive. We let them decide when to run and when to hide.
